At Grace, we've designed our Men's Ministry to help guys build real friendships and provide resources for spiritual formation and leadership.
We do this through...
A Weekly study Group ...IRONWORKS
Connect with other men from Grace over donuts, coffee, and the Word of God as we strive together to be Christlike. We meet every Thursday from 6-7:00 a.m. in the Grace Cafe. This is where greatness is cultivated. For more information on Ironworks contact Michael Lopes.
Periodic Special Events
Every May the men of Grace form several slow-pitch softball teams for summer league play. This is a great way to meet some of the men at the church while competing together, and is a good place to invite friends not connected with the church. The league runs from June to August. For more information contact Eddie Wendt.
Men’s Board Game Nights
The men of Grace met on the second Friday of the month from 7:00pm to 10:00pm in the Grace Cafe to build friendships while playing games and eating manly snacks. For more information contact Zach Cardoza.
Men's 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
This year's 3on3 tournament at the Manuel Hernandez Center will be in March from 8-12 noon. The date is TBD. Keep an eye out for more information.
On April 27-28 the men of Grace hosted the Ignite Conference. It was designed to ignite the passion in the souls of men for Lord Jesus Christ. Our speaker, Steve Farrar, did a fantastic job of inspiring the men to love and follow Christ. Also, good food and good fellowship was enjoyed by all 100 men.
Downtown Car Show
The men of Grace have a booth at the Visalia Downtown Car Show every May. This event gives us the opportunity to share Jesus with those at the car show and make our presence known in the community. If you are interested in showing your classic car or helping in other ways, please contact Eddie Wendt.
Men’s Trap Shooting
The men of Grace have a great time at our annual Trap Shoot competition. This event is held at the Tulare Co. Trap Club in Visalia from 8:00am to 12:00pm on a Saturday in August. Men of all ages and skill levels are invited to compete. Lunch and snacks are provided. This is a great event to invite friends not connected with the church. For more information contact Rick Peyton.
Every other fall we spend a weekend in the mountains. Expect great speakers and great fellowship.
Dads, every other year we work hard to create a special night for you and your daughter that you’ll both enjoy and remember for a lifetime. October 27, 2018 we had wonderful themed evening consisting of dinner, photos, prizes, and more. Information on our 2020 Father/Daughter Dinner will be found on this page in the Spring of 2020.
Men are encouraged to serve as ushers, communion servers, in the Grace Cafe, on the campus security team, and at other church events throughout the year.
