Worship Arts

Encountering God, blessing him with our praise, and sharing the joy with one another through corporate worship.

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Worship Arts Pastor. You may fill out an application here and e-mail it to us at the address found on the cover page of the application.


Adult Choir, Praise Teams, Orchestra, Drama, Sound, Lighting and Projection Techs are all opportunities to share your gifts.

Worship Arts Schedule for Spring 2017

If you play an instrument you are invited to join us. The orchestra leads the congregation in worship approximately once a month and is also featured in Christmas and Easter drama productions. Contact Pastor Brian (733-3966 x 119) prior to rehearsal so that he can have copies of your instrumental part ready.

Adult Choir
Rehearsals: Wednesdays 6-7:25 p.m. in M-3
The Adult Choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. No music reading ability is required and CD’s of each voice part will be provided to aid in learning music. The Adult Choir leads worship with the orchestra monthly as well as singing individual anthems on a regular basis. The choir is also featured in Christmas and Easter drama productions.

Praise Teams
If you are interested in serving as a substitute on a Praise Team please contact Pastor Brian. The teams are currently filled but as openings become available or substitutions are needed you will be called. These positions require an audition. Contact Pastor Brian for more information.

If you have interest in any aspect of the dramatic arts (acting, stage hand, lighting, costumes, set construction etc.) we need you. Please contact Pastor Brian or Kay Whistler (734-1891). Typically we do one or two dramatic productions per year.  

Technical Support
If you are interested in helping with visual media or sound on Sunday mornings or could help with stage set up for special events contact Pastor Brian.  We are currently in need of both Sound Technicians and Pro-Presenter operators.
